First day of school August 20, 2012

This year was strange just having 3 in school. I have one in elemnetary, one in Middle-school and one in high school. It will be that way for a couple of years. I think Luke really hates being by himself but is getting used to it. Jeremy is trying to adjust to the hard life of middle school. He is blessed with a wonerful team of teachers. If anyone can handle Jeremy can handle it. Samuel is in marching band so we hardly see him. He leaves in the morning to early morning seminary at 6:00 a.m. and then he doesn't get home until 6:30 p.m. except Wednesdays and Fridays. And usually on Fridays he plays at a home football game. On Saturdays he has competition which is all over the region. I tried to capture some pictures
of them the first day of school.

Luke Campbell's Baptism

While we were in Palmyra Luke was baptized. We have been at pageant ever since he was 4 years old so this was very special for him. He was baptized in the palmyra chapel which was just across the street from the Palmyra temple. It was so neat to have so many friends there. I think it is a day Luke will not forget. He was so excited to be exactly like everyone else in his family.

Hill Cumorah Pageant

This year we had the wonderful opportunity to go to participate in the Hill Cumorah Pagewant in Palmyra, New York. This is our fourth year and we love it. Some people call us crazy! We camp for 2 weeks in our pop-up trailer and we practice for the show day and night. If we are not in practice we are in our cast team, which is our age group. This year Boyd and I volunteered for working with the primary ages 4-8. This is our 3rd year helping that group and we love it. In fact they have called me back to staff and I will be working with the 4-6 year olds. Next year will be busy but very rewarding. Every year I go there I learn something new about myself or others. It has been very rewarding.

The Wedding June 16,2012

My second son, Nate got married to Brittany Rudd on June 16, 2012 in the Columbia South Carolina Temple. Nate got home from his mission on Oct., 2011. It was at a Halloween dance that Brittany and Nate got together. Brittany lived in Camden just right next to Lugoff but they had never really talked to each other. On feb. 14th, 2012 he proposed to her. Everything was beautiful and just right the day they got married. And the best part of all I got a daughter. Now Nate is off to BYU going to school. I miss having them around and so do the boys. But that is one reason I wanted to start this blog. So they can stay in touch with us.
